Maddy is a former Duke University midfielder who ranks 21st at her alma mater in career points and 22nd in career assists. A starter for three years, she helped guide Duke to four consecutive NCAA quarterfinal appearances and was also selected to the All-ACC second team as a senior. Maddy was also a four-year ACC Academic Honor Roll selection and three-time All-ACC Academic team selection, in addition to being one of only 22 players at Duke to top the 100 point mark in her career.
Maddy moved to Manhattan Beach in 2015 where she was instrumental in helping start the renowned Fire Lacrosse Academy. She then transitioned to coaching at the high school level by taking on the role of Assistant Coach at Marlborough School, before eventually settling in at Mira Costa where she helped guide the Mustangs to its shortened undefeated season in 2020 and a #1 CIF ranking. Maddy is currently the assistant coach for the Under Armour All-American West Coast Team and has coached the LA Women’s Developmental National team the last two springs.
Under Maddy's coaching, the #4 ranked CIF Lady Mustangs return to action this spring when they’ll look to better their 2023 record of 15-4 overall and make a fifth consecutive trip to the CIF post-season.
Trenna is from the Onondaga Nation in Upstate NY, widely known to be "The Home of Lacrosse." Trenna has a strong cultural background and spiritual connection to the sport as a Native American female athlete that is displayed in her coaching style.
Her playing career included Division I lacrosse at Syracuse University with 4 NCAA DI Final Four appearances, two Big East Championships, Big East and ACC All-Academic Teams, as well as being captain of the Iroquois Nationals at the Women’s World Cup in 2013.
Since moving to Hermosa Beach in 2016, Trenna has been instrumental to growing the lacrosse community and is committed to improving the competitive identity in Los Angeles. She has coached for a large number of club and school programs, including South Bay Lacrosse Club, Fire Lacrosse, All America West, and leading the UCLA Bruins to the WCLA championships as head coach in 2019 along with a #3 national ranking.
2024 marks Trenna's 3rd season with the Mustangs, helping lead Mira Costa to the CIF Division III championship as assistant coach in her first year in 2022. Trenna is now the Director of Athlete Development and Recruiting at LA Select Lacrosse.
Laurel is from the snowy, mountain town of Park City, Utah. Laurel grew up racing down the ski hills and began playing lacrosse in 7th grade as a means of off-season training. Inevitably the love of lacrosse took over as the primary focus.
She continued to play at D-III Adrian College in Michigan, getting recruited as a low attacker. In her Freshman season, her team was in need of a Goalie for the 2nd half of the season. After playing some of this role in high school, Laurel suited up for the remainder of her first year. Adrian went on to its first-ever NCAA tournament appearance in school history. Laurel continued to play as a low defender for her remaining three years. During this time Adrian won 3 MIAA conference championships, had 3 more NCAA tournament appearances, and made it to the Quarterfinals in her Junior year. Laurel was named to the MIAA All-Conference, First Team her senior year.
Following college, Laurel moved back to Park City where she coached the Park City HS Girls. During her time with this team, they won 3 Utah High School State Championships. She was involved with the US Ski and Snowboard team, Utah Mamaci, 212, and helped start a lacrosse program at Wasatch High School. In 2016 she was named the Utah U-15 National team Coach.
Laurel moved to Redondo Beach in 2020, where she began coaching for South Bay Lacrosse, LA Select, and asked to assist Mira Costa. Laurel is in her 3rd year at Mira Costa.
